It's one of many things we've heard bouncing around. The larger point is that we have no idea what happened and everyone who does know has mostly gone radio silent.
Here's what we can say with absolute confidence. Jeffrey Epstein should have been on round-the-clock observation complete with cameras and on suicide watch. It should have been completely impossible for him to hang himself and it should have been impossible for anyone else to strangle him. Everything with which he could have harmed himself in any way should have been removed from the equation. That's how suicide watch in a prison actually works. If any of that wasn't happening, then it amounts to criminal and willful negligence. You need to start looking for people coming into sudden monetary windfalls if they were anywhere close to Epstein. Look for staff whose families could be threatened. If the prison staff did their jobs correctly, Epstein wouldn't have been "suicided" even once, much less twice.
The worst of it is that everyone pretty much knew Epstein was as good as dead. It just sucks when your expectations of seeing the worst and most corrupt outcomes actually come true.
