What's sad is that Trump would even need to explain that he was being sarcastic with that remark. Sarcastic humor has always been an important part of political discourse in the West. It's often the best way to make a point. But it seems like we've reached a critical mass of people who are just too stupid to get it.
All you have to do is convince 3/4 of the states that will have their president selected for them by CA and NY to agree to such an arrangement.
