There's a large difference between mispeaking and ignorance. Or should we also castigate Reagan for saying "Facts are stupid things"?

Trump's issue is more likely to be Alzheimer's vs ignorance. He's on record saying he hasn't heard of a Cat 5 hurricane several different times since he's been president. If he forgot each time he said this, then it really points to him losing some of his short term memory. Classic Alzheimer's. It's genetic and his father had it.

Not the first time Trump said he's never heard of a Category 5

In the days between the landfalls of Hurricane Irma and Maria, he said he "never even knew" they existed ...

October 2017, Trump claimed "nobody has ever heard of a (Category) 5 hitting land," and earlier this year, he again said he had never heard of a hurricane of that intensity.

And we all know which one Trump is! The man is a poster child for the term ignorance.

It’s fine. They didn’t elect him for his intelligence, memory, or elocution. They elected him for his arrogance.

Now he's saying that Alabama will be impacted by Hurricane Dorian. The National Weather Service had to correct him. Wonder if he'll fire the guy that corrected him?
