The conflict was using an old projection, and altering it with a sharpie, vs using up to date projections. NOAA had released 13 updates between the 29th and the 1st. The white house said that Trump was getting hourly updates yet he seems to have missed 13 updates from NOAA.

We know that Trump was using a map from the 29th.
Was he sleeping through those hourly meetings?

No clue, but we do know that he wasn't paying attention to the updates or he wouldn't be using a 3 day old projection.

It's entertaining, but the long-lasting results are sad and tragic. Any trust partner countries had in the US is gone, and unlikely to come back. They are moving on to other alliances. Turkey is playing footsies with Putin, the TPP will leave the USA out of it, and alone, and China is working hard on its Belt and Road project.

What does not compute is that you apparently have zero interest in why the President of the US did not have updated info when he spoke about the storm relative to AL. Doesn't matter that it was Trump …..it could be any President. And my guess is if it were any other President the press would have asked that question rather than jump to all kinds of ridiculous stuff like dementia, doesn't know where AL is, etc.
All we know is that he didn't get it, maybe got it but didn't pay attention. And we know that at least in this instance enough other people were paying attention to catch and correct the conflicting info.
