Further, who cares? The whistleblower complaint is either backed up by evidence or it isn't. The only way the whistleblower identity comes into play is if they are making claims themselves, not simply alerting about what others have told them.

We don't actually have a 'transcript' of the call. We have the account of note-takers.
It doesn't matter one iota who it is. It doesn't matter if they are biased. It doesn't matter if they despise Trump with all of their being. It doesn't matter who they worked for or what party they belong to. It's irrelevant and just something to distract. It simply doesn't matter who it is. What matters is that if or when they are identified, their life will be in danger.

Good thing it doesn't work this way. If a president is removed from office, it is because of solid evidence and not because of an anonymous accuser. What do you think this inquiry is? It's the investigation to see if there is solid evidence. If Trump is innocent, there will be no strong evidence against him.

Trump is not Nixon, time to give up that fantasy. He is not going to resign or be impeached from office, the most democrats can do is impeach in the house. You would be wise to focus efforts on your primaries to elect a candidate that you think can beat him. Anything else is a waste of time and effort.
Makes sense why they'd want to keep his identity secret, the guy has no credibility.
