Please explain how it is morally superior to force other people to pay for the goods and services at an above fair market rate?

I am sure most people want much more than MW for any job even entry level low skilled. If the owner is not willing to pay, then the owner should just do himself. He will save himself money, hence make more money.
If owner cannot perform task he must hire someone or let that task fall by the wayside. So tell me more about this "fair market rate". And illegals dont count because they are not suppose to be here.
I have no doubt you'd support bringing back indentured servitude and child labor if you could get away with it.

I did in college and it's insane that's still what the same store pays well over a decade later despite the fact everything is significantly more expensive now than it was back then.
There was a push by some for $15 / hr a decade ago.
Here we are, a decade later. COL has gone up but wages are the same.
In another decade, it will still be $7.25 / hr if it was up to them.
COL would continue to go up.
Those people to make ends meet would have live 10 to a room like in the ghettos and favelas in Brazil.

That will raise the minimum wage without any governmental action needed.
We have a over-supply of cheap, uneducated labor. It brings down the entire wage structure for lower income Americans.
One major reason low-income wages went up under Trump were the restrictions on immigration. The great economy helped particular in blue-collar jobs, but we have great economic periods before and wages did NOT go up due to mass immigration.
I agree, most regulations stagnate wages. But immigration laws need to be followed.
If I were president, I would have asked congress to enact a gradient minimum wage based on the states GDP and COL. States with higher GDP and COL would have a higher base, and states with lower GDP and COL would have a lower base.
Fortunately you aren't President. Your liberal big-government policies would destroy America. We need less regulation in federal government... not more. The federal government shouldn't be involved in minimum wage. Leave it to the states and local government.
A high federal minimum wage will almost certainly destroy jobs and make people poorer in parts of the country.
Actually if jobs are destroyed, it will create more feasible ownership opportunity. The owners will have to perform their own tasks, and they can only handle so much business. This will leave many customers with unfulfilled demands. More demand exists means more room for suppliers.

Thats one of the major issues I have with Democrats. They want to sweep their regulations with a broad brush over the entire United States, as if what will work in San Francisco will work the same in Jonesboro, ARK. We dont need government to rule our entire lives the same. Let the states do their job.
How come when we talk about the federal minimum wage going up, they tell us it will only increase the COL.
Yet, when wages stagnate thanks to cheap labor competition overseas, the COL still goes up and many who lost those jobs need to go on welfare and food stamps to now make ends meet?.
Jobs will be destroyed in low cost locales with a Federal Minimum wage of $15. Why do you think only 2% off workers make the federal minimum wage and half of them are under 25?

Californians brag about their minimum wage, which honestly, factored in with GDP and COL is far less impressive than missouri's.
Why are you guys so focused on COL? How many companies factor in CoL when they set their prices? ZERO. So why are you bent on punishing how far someone makes their dollar stretch based on where they live?
If you're THAT poor that you can;t afford to buy stuff from companies that pay their workers $7.25 an hour, then your problem is staring at you in the mirror!!!!
If you ever worked a day in your life, you'd be a tad more understanding towards those that do!
