Angry boomers have no idea who much worse the "good ole days" they want to take our country back to were in a lot of ways.
Please explain how it is morally superior to force other people to pay for the goods and services at an above fair market rate?

The disgusting and morally corrupt person supporting slavery is you! Look into a mirror please.

It's truly disgusting.
what's disgusting is that you actually seem to believe what you type. Do these stupid thoughts just pop into your head, or you're getting them from some other source/philosophy?

But then again, angry boomers wouldn't be able to feel as superior to their grocery store clerk if they knew they made $15/hr instead of $7.25.
Do you have a $7.25/hr grocery job? How long have you been there?

I grew up as a hardcore conservative. I say what conservatives are thinking but will never say.

The reason conservatives don't want to raise the minimum wage is because to them, "deadbeat" burger flippers and retail workers aren't even worth the $7.25 they currently get. It's a superiority/dominance thing.

I did in college and it's insane that's still what the same store pays well over a decade later despite the fact everything is significantly more expensive now than it was back then.

About 2% of all workers make the federal minimum wage. And half are under 25 years old. This is not a federal issue, but a state and local one. One size does not fit all in a country like the US.

Just walked past the Aldi in my neighborhood. They have a sign that says they are hiring at $12/hour. At that wage two workers could afford half the apartments in my City.

No one will admit that though.

Californians brag about their minimum wage, which honestly, factored in with GDP and COL is far less impressive than missouri's.
That was Orange's idea. Then, we all knew that it did not exist if MSM did not report it.

How come when we talk about the federal minimum wage going up, they tell us it will only increase the COL.
Yet, when wages stagnate thanks to cheap labor competition overseas, the COL still goes up and many who lost those jobs need to go on welfare and food stamps to now make ends meet?

Introduce the elephant in the room.
Greed, profits and shareholders. That is where the money all went.
