Because we have fiat money, and we create more and more over time, anyone willing to accept lower and lower pay is essentially enslaving themselves. They are essentially moving themselves toward zero wage. I dont think self imposed slavery is legal. How can be if we outlaw slavery? The owners will become the new slave holders.

The owner does not have to pay himself any wage or zero wage if he does the work himself. He just collects his dividends or private ownership equivalent.

I dont get your last statement of MW will cause higher paid employees to lose their jobs.
