Rudy admitted FALSE evidence at those evidentiary hearings. That is why his license was suspended. Just sayin.

This is kind of sad, because I remember Giuliani from the height of his popularity, in the weeks following 9/11. He did a superb job.

BUT. What a thrill to see the pushback from the courts on this nonsense. A purposeful attempt to steal the election from the voters.

So, good. Hopefully the rest of the Kraken will fall too.

Edited to add:

Also refreshing, is that in his defense he stated he didn't know the statements he was making were false at the time - he's not claiming his statements were true. So that's a step forward toward the light.

I would say a high percentage doesn’t get caught or overlooked.

The Court gave unduly short shrift to his First Amendment argument. The Court stated in relevant part (link to published Court decision so not copyrighted):

This is unfair and contrary to our country's best traditions. Our country relies upon vigorous advocacy, in an adversarial system. The circumstances of Giuliani's alleged misstatements to courts were not ones where any party was subject to being deceived. The dispute over ballot counting and handling was the subject of microscopic scrutiny. Also these were matters of opinion, argument and controversy. This was not an attorney lying to a court about the state of a client escrow.

Let's face it; wokeness has inserted itself into areas hitherto sacred. The ability of an attorney to speak for his or her client is now seriously compromised.

He was making false statements of fact, not opinion.

An opinion might be, it's too bad Trump lost.

A statement of fact might be, Trump didn't lose.

Every defense lawyer to tries to get a client who they know is guilty off should also lose their license.

His defense lawyer’s statement provided no basis of defense just that this is “unprecedented.”

“This is unprecedented as we believe that our client does not pose a present danger to the public interest.” Clearly these guys have no idea what the “public interest” is.

Sad what Rudy has come to. And what a long, long fall from grace it’s been. From America’s mayor to America’s crazy grandpa.

Yep. We already knew how corrupt these officials in New York are, and to what extent they will go to weaponize literally every aspect of society, including the courts and the legal system, against their political adversaries. Nothing these people do should be deferred to as trustworthy or above board. They have shown their true colors way too many times over the last 10 or so years, and they have become positively disconnected from any sort of principled or honorable conduct over the last 5 years.

Democrat leftists are relentless, aggressive, unconscionable liars. Their preferred tactic for forwarding their corrupt agenda is smearing and slandering people. The politics of personal destruction. Everyone should keep that firmly in mind when reading or responding to actions or allegations of this sort.

Rudy was using the information available to him at the time and this is simply payback from the Dem political machine for trying to upset the apple cart. Half the country sees what's going on. Rudy will get vindicated as more evidence comes out.
