Still trying to figure that one out. Even before he went political - everybody knew he'd stiff anyone he worked with, yet people kept trying to make deals with him. The Trump attraction - I will never understand it.

He was successfully making money on the side using the trump influence card. It wasn't about Trump, it was about getting other people to pay for the access and sway.

The important thing here is that regardless of those who would portray Rudy as a victim, he is absolutely nothing of the sort. He knew what the consequences could be for lying in a courtroom, and willfully chose to do so anyway. He got precisely what he bargained for.

If he didn't understand the legal niceties of a lawyer lying in court, he really wasn't much of a lawyer anyway. No big loss to the profession.

What judge, what court? Can you link.
Even Trump is not arguing that swalwell is lying on the assault charges, he is arguing absolute immunity.
