Rudy was using the information available to him at the time and this is simply payback from the Dem political machine for trying to upset the apple cart. Half the country sees what's going on. Rudy will get vindicated as more evidence comes out.

Rudy Giuliani has been suspended from practicing law in New York, an appellate court decided Thursday, citing the findings of a state disciplinary body which concluded the former mayor made “demonstrably false and misleading statements” while leading former President Donald Trump’s legal campaign to overturn the 2020 election.

Um, no. Not even a little bit is that going to fly.
The Court gave unduly short shrift to his First Amendment argument. The Court stated in relevant part (link to published Court decision so not copyrighted):
This is unfair and contrary to our country's best traditions. Our country relies upon vigorous appellate advocacy, in an adversarial system. The circumstances of Giuliani's alleged misstatements to courts were not ones where any party was subject to being deceived. The dispute over ballot counting and handling was the subject of microscopic scrutiny. Also these were matters of opinion,argument and controversy. This was not an attorney lying to a court about the state of a client escrow.
Let's face it; wokeness has inserted itself into areas hitherto sacred. The ability of an attorney to speak for his or her client is now seriously compromised.

Not to mention a distinguished term as US Atty for SDNY where he cracked down on the mafia. Now he's arguably part of a mob enterprise.
He'd argue numbers that he could produce no sources for, he'd argue numbers that were wildly inconsistent, and he'd spout as fact information that appears to have been made up completely.
Wow. The guy just followed Trump all the way down the rabbit hole... and destroyed his reputation. Was it worth it?
This is the interesting part. Why would anyone ever tie themselves to someone like Trump for any reason? Anyone with half a brain understands that is the kiss of death. Did Trump have some power over Giuliani or his family?
