It’s relatively new that people get so cantankerous over what shouldn’t be such prickly subjects. I also don’t want to encourage it by saying we should just separate. That’s more like giving up.

The controversy about enclavism, besides it reflecting real trends, is comparisons to segregation (separate but equal). However, it seems that the alternatives are much worse. Either hyper-competitive capitalisms, further extreme stratification along class-lines or state socialism and forced equality.
