Wow! This woman is too unhinged to hold any elected office.
Obviously, she is desperate to find anything that will stick against her opponent, who will likely be reelected this Fall.
I'm surprised she was elected to head up Florida's Agriculture Dept. Ag is typically rural, & rural voters lean heavily conservative. I'll need to look into her bio to see why voters liked her for that position. She's obviously not a typical Democrat. She's coming of as a hard leftist with all the wacky attacks. Centrist Democrats don't act like that.
The Democritters see DeSantis as a threat at the national level, as a likely challenger for their senile incumbent president. So they're doing everything possible to try and tear him down. But it's unlikely to work, since FL is looking ascendant at this point.
It looks like the democrats are intentionally supporting a moron.
With the intention of losing.

Remember, Hilary called half the country deplorable. That is not a tactic to use if you are trying to WIN OVER votes. You don't insult people that you are trying to get to vote for you. You kiss their voting butts to ensure you win. Then you insult them after you have won.
Whenever anyone compares a politician to Hitler s/he automatically loses credibility in my eyes unless the person being compared to him is actively and consciously participating in genocide.
