No, I don't believe so.
That kind of stuff seems to happen in China and Afghanistan, though. So there's that.
You can be gifted a gun, you can win one, you can make one. The process/fee to purchase a weapon is no different then purchasing a bullhorn/microphone/radio transmitter etc in order to effectively exercise your 1st amendment right. Charging for the very right to exercise those would be comparable. You never see a "speaking permit" requirement.

B.S.
You have to have a background check, which most states charge you a fee to buy a gun.
Do you know any states that requires a background check, and charges you a fee to buy any of the items you listed?
Interesting how the nation's attention shifts from one issue to another. Yesterday gun laws took center stage. Today Roe v Wade has the entire country's attention.
This RADICAL court is intent on taking America backwards. In the last two days, it has overturned a 100 year old NY gun law and taken away the 50 year old settled law precedent protecting the right of women to make choices about their body. This court is making decisions out of the mainstream against the wishes of the majority of Americans. Their EXTREME actions will further politicize the court and will further erode trust and faith in it. It is a sad day for the nation and its people.

This complicates the job of the policeman and increases the potential for accidental shootings. What exactly is the problem this solves, I don't want someone riding on the train taking the law into his own hands.
"This complicates the job of the policeman"
How many policemen have to talked to about this, to come up with your claim?

What was that BANG?
Ah.
The right shooting itself squarely in the foot, and snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
If the far right thinks the left will sit idly by and allow contraception, and same sex relationships to be outlawed, they're grievously mistaken.
THIS is the kind of stuff that will make the midterms not a runaway. At all.
And you were so close . . .
