That is the case *now*. Missouri recently seriously considered a law which would grant standing to private citizens to file a lawsuit against a Missouri resident who helped a woman travel to another state for an abortion.

Hopefully it is found unconstitutional. I think it is but I’m not a lawyer and I’m definitely not a judge.

Hope they don't choke.

This ruling does not actually change anything. States can now ban abortions. And the ones that will do so have popular support for that from their voters. There might be instances where candidates are in close races in swing or blue states where this might matter. But overall no. Its not the most important issue. The ones where this is the #1 issue are on the far left and far right and this ruling changes nothing for them.

We're about to see a wave of activism we hadn't seen since the 60's, when we all thought these rights were hard fought for, and won.

And then this.

And with people fighting for their health care rights, and same sex marriage rights, while they're at it, your gun rights are on the table. For good measure. Just so you remember this.
Why do you say that and have such a blanket view of 50 states ?
No it does not have to take years.

Anyone can travel to NYC and get an abortion any time up to going into labor.

No more excuses.

Democrats could have passed everything they ever wanted the first year Obama was President.

But keep in mind, the Constitution states anything not spelled out directly in the constitution must be sent to the states for the states to decide.

Are you against the constitution?

Why didn't Democrats do it and everything else they wanted when they had a super majority during Obama's first year?

Seems like they just want to make excuses.

News flash: Men don't have a right to an abortion, either.
I don’t know, the term pregnant women is obsolete and we must use “birthing people”.

The insensitivity of these Neanderthals clamoring for a “woman’s” right to choose is staggering.
