But Russia did most of the work, having to confront about 80% of the Nazi forces.

They lost the most people that is for sure. We had far worse logistics being on the other side of an Ocean.

Heh, heh.... Lots of quivering lips and knees, it appears.
Russia can't get an aircraft carrier to work, can't control Ukraine, can't control the skies over Ukraine, doesn't have a modern tank in production, has to tape civilian GPS's to fighter aircraft dashboards, does not have secure military communications, and cannot replace the high quality munitions they are expending and losing to Ukrainian actions.

The last thing Russia wants is full US involvement. They would be crushed.
But when Putin gets on TV and makes some threat, some people quake with fear and start mumbling about nuclear weapons. The last time Russia exploded one was 1989.
No one is going to use nukes, Boys and Girls. Come out from under your bed.

You'll have to convince the US military of that, not us. They are the ones that can do something about it. But they haven't. I wonder why?

All things you said are true if you're listening to MSM. The reality is very different.
The US got its ass kicked in Afghanistan. They wouldn't stand a chance against a peer military power.

There has been quite a lot of destruction in Iraq, and Afghanistan. And in Libya, and Syria due to US arming certain sides.

On the other hand, Russians are barbarians. They have suffered under cruel despots for centuries. They are like a kid that was abused and all they know is how to abuse others. I see no harm in green lighting Ukraine to launch their HIMARS artillery on Russian border cities to remind them of the pain they have caused to their neighbors throughout history.
LOLZ seriously who be these cruel despots that are more despotic than other ruler of the same time period?

Yeh, Germany, and Poland fought the new Ukraine state at the end of WW1. But now they are friends.

Ukraine did not have beef with "Russians" at that time. It was Bolsheviks/Communists. There was a Ukrainian Communist party/state that conquered Ukraine from the "normal" Ukrainians and brought it under the Soviet Umbrella.

The Central Rada which could be considered the legit Ukrainian govt after the Russian Monarch abdicated, had close ties with the new Russian Provisional Govt (the non communists). They likely would have stayed in some kind of union with Russia had things worked out and not devolve into the October Revolution.

The Bolsheviks did worse to Russians and Ukrainians than the Nazis did.

That is open to debate. Both were bad. But what has that to do with Russians fighting and pushing out Nazi forces out of Russia?

Which country is the only one to have used atomic weaponry, remind me? Just a bit rich saying Russians aren't scared to use their nuclear warheads as if we have any previous instance of them being used.
