The bottom line is that with an ever increasing inflation rate, currently 9.1%, and now this slight increase in the taxes on the lower/mid Middle-Class, we got screwed.

The lower/mid Middle-Class will feel this the most since the corporations and the rich can easily absorb the increases without any pain. AND!! Only an idiot thinks that this tax increases on the corporations is their problem… The reality is that every time the government raises taxes on the corporations, the cost is redirected to the consumer. The kicker in this process, is that the corporations, in the end, makes a larger profit with this excuse in the cost increases.

So!! If you’re making $50Ks to $150Ks, your taxes were just raised for 2023. Congratulations!! Since most of America freely voted for this injustice back in November 2020, thinking you were going to get tons of free stuff…. Yeah, you’re getting it, but in the wrong way!!

So, please explain to me how the Republicans are the only ones that raises everybody’s taxes since “I” don’t see it that way??

They both began being the party of big money when Clinton started being Reagan lite with all his “third way” BS.
The beginning of the end was in the early 1930's with The New Deal. You can see it so clearly on this graph:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Govern...ending_GDP.png

Other defining moments of the 1% takeover were:

-allowing non-property owners to vote

-leaving the Gold standard

-implementation of federal withholding

-payroll taxes (fastest growing federal taxes)

-mutual funds & ETF's (eliminated shareholder participation in exec compensation)

The Obamacare subsidies are absolutely essential for the red states.

Thumbs up The bill is popular!

I hope Kristen Sinema reads this:

Poll: Americans favor Manchin-Schumer climate deal by wide margins
Quote:
Amid worsening economic numbers — and President Biden’s lowest approval rating to date — a new Yahoo News/YouGov poll suggests that Democrats’ best chance for a boost before November’s pivotal midterm elections would be to pass the climate change, tax and prescription drug bill that Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia, a key Democratic centrist, finally agreed to support last week.

The survey of 1,557 U.S. adults, which was conducted from July 28 to Aug. 1, found that Americans favor — by wide margins — each major component of the sweeping “reconciliation” deal that Democratic Majority Leader Chuck Schumer negotiated with Manchin.
