Normally strong DeSantis is being very weak and wobbly on abortion because he knows he can't ban it in Pro-Choice Florida, but doesn't want to upset the Pro-Life extremists whose support he needs. I expect him to do more things like this to appease social conservatives without having to resort to a stricter abortion ban.

This is not about JUST abortion, nor does the governor have the ability to legislate.
