The immigrants processed through Ellis Island came here looking for a better life. All they wanted was a hand up, to get a chance at that better life. Most if not all had skills to get a job or start a business.
While these "migrants", cut the BS illegals just want handouts and more handouts.
Eric Adams now says that they are planning to spend 4.2 billion dollars on migrants and the amount is expected to grow even larger.
I guess the 4.2 billion is a little down-payment for the Big Apple on these "migrants".
I hope that Republican governors Abbott and DeSantis can send more buses and cause that amount to "expected to grow even larger" become larger than Democrat Eric Adams can ever dream of.
And how many American citizens have lost their homes because they lost their jobs due to covid lockdowns, or the taxes went so high they could no longer afford them and had to walk away? Just goes to show these politicians are not representing their so called constituents, but actually support foreign invaders over their own citizens.

Oh please. My family were immigrants, but they made their own way and were never given handouts. In fact, they settled in northwestern NY and became coal miners, but then here comes the government and passes the EPA act and along with it, the coal mines, so my family hit rock bottom and had to rebuild themselves up again.
Times have changed, our needs have changed, our population numbers have changed, we have many homeless of our own, we are deeply in debt. These people are mostly bogus asylum claimants and illegal aliens that did not go through the legal process such as Ellis Island back then. They just snuck in looking to tap into our welfare dollars and take from American citizens. And you think this is the same thing?
And a good deal of these homeless are because of drugs. These illegals coming in often tend to be mules for the drug traffickers, so it will keep the American homeless problem going.
What happens when one of those illegals gets injured or killed on your property while doing their cheap work for you?
What happens if they screw up your house or your yard or your car (if you have one)?
That 'cheap work' won't be worth it.
Why can't you hire Americans to do the job? There's plenty out there. Because you want cheap labor. That is not a good excuse to support illegal aliens flooding this country and taking jobs away from American citizens.
You are spitting on your fellow Americans, especially homeless people, when you continue to give Jose your business.
They want cheap labor that they can pay under the table while making American labor more expensive.
