That and it's social media. They fall out of favor as time goes on.

It seems the only ads on Twitter these days are random items that used to be sold on late night television and that probably doesn't get a lot of ad revenue. Liberals don't have to support Twitter. Let that sink in!
You fight fire with fire and it's about time. Why should conservatives keep taking the high road and being quirt?

Except, of course, if you're a Turkish user trying to tweet something inconvenient for Erdogan.

Mid-life crisis. Some men buy sportscars, but centibillionaires go a little wilder.

We're talking ad revenue, right?

Given Facebook was started before Twitter -- do you think then we should have seen a 'falling our of favor' with regards to ad revenue there?

Because it hasn't happened.

Lots of 'theories' on ad revenue for social media platforms without any real historical data to substantiate the theories.

I do believe companies stop advertising not as some wild statement, but because there was an unknown. It is up to Twitter to woo them back. That's why he hired an advertising/marketing specialist for a CFO and not a social media specialist or money cruncher.

Ultimately whoever was on Twitter -- the success isn't measured by the characteristics of the users but the number of users and the ad dollars spent to keep Twitter going.

Musk is hoping to win back some of those dollars. Won't happen if the Twitter users/activity doesn't return to its glory days.

But also operating expenses. He did save a ton of money by cutting staff.

lol Based on what?
