God bless the FPC. Life member and regular contributor. Those guys are awesome (same with GOA and SAF).
Their final rule on unfinished parts has been vacated. That's right, ATF. You can't just go around making up new laws. Tsk, tsk.
Correcting their overreach isn't going to stop here. They've been bad boys and girls lately.
Quote:
A federal judge in Texas issued a devastating blow to the Biden Administration’s anti-gun plan. Judge Reed O’Conner vacated the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) frames and receiver rule (FINAL RULE 2021R-05F).
The case, Vanderstok v. Garland, was brought by the Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) and challenged the ATF’s decision to reclassify unfinished frames and receivers as firearms. Biden and other anti-gun zealots have railed against Americans building their own guns in the privacy of their own homes. The anti-gun side of the debate has propagandized these items as tools of criminals and has labeled the items as “ghost guns.”
Maybe ATF needs to go back to being an agency under executive branch.
For the last few years ATF is acting both as an executive branch and legislative branch by making whatever new gun law they see fit bypassing Congress.

When it gets to the supreme court then you can celebrate.
