Russia news media (which is controlled basically by Putin or his cronies) were quick out of the gate saying Prigozhin was on list of passengers from downed plane. Normally there would have been some sort of delay until Kremlin or someone high up gave news media their instructions.
Person or persons know more than they are saying and that's normal for Russia in these sort of situations.

I watch international news as well, and it's on news stations around the world. I'm watching CBC out of Canada right now and they are talking about it. I also saw it on the BBC earlier, so it's just not the US media, it's everywhere.
