Many times in it's existence the nation of Israel has been attacked by it's neighbors. Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Iraq have all waged outright war against Israel. Iran has waged a war of terror as well, using Palestinians as pawns. All these wars and attacks have been supported by Palestinians committing terror attacks from within Israel's own borders. All these nations express outrage over the conditions that these poor Palestinians are living under. Conditions brought on by their own choices-specifically by electing a terror organization to "lead" Gaza and continued attacks on Israeli citizens.

So, obvious question-why won't those Islamic states absorb those people? There aren't many-fewer than have crossed OUR southern border in the last year or so. And unlike the invasion we're suffering, these people share many things-an embrace of the Islam. A commitment to the destruction of the state of Israel. Why won't they accept these people and offer to allow them to immigrate if they are concerned with their plight?

Another question. Israel is denounced if they don't provide adequate food, water and power to provide for the comfort of the people slaughtering their citizens. Now-Gaza shares a border with Egypt as well as Israel-why should Israel as opposed to Egypt, be expected to provide for these people? Why should Israel's economy be forced to support the very people that they should be spending money to defend against?

It's an All or Nothing situation to Islam.

This last conflict has brought out the droves of people who do not understand what Islam is.

It's essentially a satanic cult, whose false prophet is a pedophile.

When those are the bullet-points of your worldview, then only destruction can follow.

My understanding is it's about the destruction of Israel more than anything else.

They did back in the 60s and 70s but the Palestinians refused to assimilate and began causing so much trouble that those nations had to use military force against them

The most omniscient answer to that question came in one of the many historical articles I have read and seen. I can't tell you which one, but if I find it again I will link to it.

And the answer was:
The five Arab nations that make up the Arab League know full well they cannot defeat Israel. So rather than accept Israel's existence they are forcing the Palestinians to remain in Israel/Gaza and indoctrinate their children in the hatred if the Zionists.
Now, we are seeing hundreds of thousands of young men (mostly) who have been taught to chant Death To Israel since they were 5 years old. They make the perfect suicidal jihadist. The jihadists destroyed Lebanon and they hope to repeat their victory in Israel.
The Arab League has been joined by Iran, which is Persian, and most sources believe the real driver is Russia, who wants to discourage peaceful nations from supplying weapons to Ukraine. Russia, in hope of stopping the flow of all weapons, has now begun to promote the myth that US weapons originally sent to Ukraine are being used by Hamas.

I don't think it will work, but a great many people are going to die over these ideas.

They don't want to feed and house two million people with no job skills and whose only education consists of "kill Jews". Egypt is a bad enough s-hole country already. They hate Jews more than they like progress, so don't expect anything to change soon.

Supporting someone ideologically or religiously doesn't mean you support them in your country.

Even Democrats would refuse Palestinian immigration because it would he “too many.” We already see it playing out in all the migrants in NYC.

I would essentially agree with this. Although I think to a large extent the Palestinians are willing participants. They don't actually want to leave.

The problem with your narrative is that you present the Palestinians as essentially unwanted guests in someone else's country who are unwilling or incapable of leaving. On the contrary, the Palestinians see the Jews as invaders who are occupying, colonizing, and attempting to ethnically-cleanse them from their land.

Since you imagine reality as the first, it is natural that you don't understand why the Palestinians don't just leave, or why their neighbors won't let them in. But since actual reality is the second, it makes perfect sense why they don't leave and why their neighbors at least outwardly oppose them leaving.

In short, Black September is a prime example.

One does not have such a great reputation when they tried to overthrow the country that accepted them.

Why should they have to? What gave Israel the right to take their land away? The Jews that immigrated to Israel had no ancestral ties to the hebrews whatsoever! They displaced people who had deeds to the homes they lived in.
