I’ve been against catering to specific groups (dividing Americans by skin color, religion, or ethnic origins) instead of catering to Americans in general. There’s another thing which may affect Democrats votes from black voters. A proposed ban on menthol cigarettes and flavored cigars. Besides hurting those who enjoy such products, it could result in black market in those products as well as other crimes involved in their shipping and distribution by organized criminals.
