Yikes, it appears progressives just can’t avoid this unpaid debt. They apparently need to pay reparations to African Americans who have never been slaves, as well as African countries who have had their independence for decades.

When will they pay up? A 4 day reparstions conference is serious business.
This is why you don't "feed the pidgeons".

Democrats NEVER think about the consequences of any of their actions. Any idiot could have told them what would happen with the "reparations" scam.

Well if black Americans should be demanding so called reparations from anyone, it should be from the African countries that sold their ancestors to the Dutch, English, Portugues, Spanish who brought them to the north American continent well before the USA ever existed.

That's correct.

The African slaves were already in chains upon arrival at the request of African chiefs.

Europeans were not able to independently enter the West and Central African interior to capture Africans and force them onto ships to the Americas. Instead, European traders generally relied on a network of African rulers and traders to capture and bring enslaved Africans from various coastal and interior regions to slave castles on the West and Central African coast. Many of these traders acquired captives as a result of military and political conflict, but some also pursued slave trading for profit.

African partners, including rulers, traders and military aristocrats, played a direct role in the slave trade. They sold slaves acquired from wars or through kidnapping to Europeans or their agents.

The reality is that these African leaders should in fact be paying reparations to the descendants of the African slaves in the US.

What a joke! Apart from the obvious of African tribal leaders and groups being the ones to enter the interior of Africa to capture people, how exactly are they going to quantify the amount in reparations that would be required from the United States? And are we going to be the only ones who have to pay for this? You obviously have the various European nations who partook in the Atlantic Slave Trade, the Islamic Slave Trade (was occurring as early as the 7th century), the Ottoman Slave Trade and even the Chinese have been documented as purchasing slaves imported from Africa.

Where does the buck stop and who's going to be made to fess up to all this?

Well perhaps some in Africa owe some African Americans some $$$.

African countries demand reparations from President Biden

Who can blame them?

They've got a year of free government goodies left to grab.
