Crime is literally lower now than when Rudy was in charge and down from most of the Bloomberg years and hit record lows when De Blasio was in office.

Instead of calling the national Guard, I'm surprised they didn't put the illegals in charge of checking bads and preventing crime. It just sounds like something they would do and this would give them another way to make more money.

Things will change back after the election.

Why not just deploy along the southern border and, as Barney Fife would say "Nip it, nip it in the bud!"

I was told deploying the National Guard to fight crime was racist. And checking bags was racial profiling.

Turns out the NYC subway is more dangerous than Jan 6th.

Then why is the National Guard being deployed?

The national guard begs to differ. Crime is still a huge problem in NYC and its subways, all the people getting pushed off the platforms should've told you.

Check bags? Extra patrols I get but checking a bag like one is going on a plane for a trip to work?

But this is what happens when they let things get out of control. Desperate measures for self inflicted desperate times.

NYer here. You could bring in an Army brigade but if the judges keep freeing the criminals nothing will be accomplished.

Quickly, you need to inform Gov. Hochul and the NYC citizens. The rising crime is only imaginary.

I didn't say crime isn't an issue at all and subway crime in particular is up recently and this is what it was in response to. However, it is still down from the Rudy and Bloomberg years you were referring to
