Righhhhhht. I guess if you want to compare Rudy’s first year in office to De Blasio’s first year in office. But that’s not really an accurate assessment, but that’s how the left is always twisting data.

This.

Also an indicator of what they really want-a 'national' police force. Local police departments don't cut it in their eyes.

But, if they "catch and release" is that crime counted? I wouldn't think so, as the person is not charged, right?

I think those illegals that kicked the crap out of the police officer has angered a lot of people in higher places.

""The NYPD is excellent at catching the people who perpetrate crimes, but New York City doesn't want to prosecute and incarcerate anybody anymore," said Turco, who heads up the organization of 1,700 active police members and 3,500 retirees.

Turco said the whole incident – including the beat-down, the arrests and releases, the lack of deportations as well as a migrant flipping the bird to reporters – is a microcosm of what’s going on every day in the city."

Do you have any statistics on unreported crime?

Wow, this is how you know its an election year.

When Trump threatened to send in the feds, folks were outraged, yet here the left is doing it.
That's obviously one of the qualities you look for when electing a mayor and governor, is whether or not their policies on crime and law and order will end up requiring them to call up the National Guard.

Good job democrat voters of New York
