Anybody remember the Dixiecrats? They were a Southern splinter group who were also Democrats.
The Dixiecrats were created by Strom Thurmond as the Party of Segregation Forever at the same time he was sleeping with an assortment of black women. In the late 1940s the South was solidly Democratic, but the Democrats and the Dixiecrats were two separate parties and not affiliated.
Thurmond had a black daughter as the result of one of his liaisons who the family recognized a couple of years back, making him not only a racist but a liar and a hypocrite.

For the first time since Richard Nixon took this country into the gutter I am thrilled beyond belief that we have overcome so many things and elected a Large-P President who will have a positive impact on America and restore Her to her former reputation and standing throughout the globe.
