Tn, you get a rep! Many writers on this forum just want to vent their frustrations, but people such as you, and hopefully myself, try to get people to think.
One point about people who are afraid of the government invading their space. My momma always told me that I didn't have anything to worry about if I wasn't doing anything wrong. While we hear about an airplane crashing no matter what size or how many deaths, less than 1000 died in the US last year due to airplane mishaps while we lost over 30,000 in auto deaths and more than 10,000 ghetto murders. Likewise, we hear about the one innocent person fingered by the law, while hundreds, if not thousands, of guilty thugs get off each year on "technicalities."
I will risk my life, liberty, and happiness so the law can have a bigger gun. I'd rather take the risk of a cop shooting me inappropriately, rather than allowing thugs to "just pop a shot."
