Are you talking about Bush and his Doctrine of pre-emptive strikes?

Sure as heck sounds like it to me.

Under the laws of the U.S., however, abortion is not murder, nor is it considered killing anyone. A cluster of cells has no legal status under the Constitution nor laws derived from it nor their interpretations.

I can't believe people (especially Catholics and evangelicals) who voted for him are totally ignorant of his record and ideology on the abortion issue.

Of course, the media did a great job of keeping the issue out of the debates and minimizing his radical record - maybe that's why they are so surprised.
Oh brother! ANOTHER abortion babble....by the Desperate One, who, I guess, hasn't been "spanked" and humiliated enough.

MOST of America believes in FREE CHOICE! It's a fact (although I know you hate that)

Neither I, nor Obama , give a red hot damn what the Poop thinks...HE could be a little more humble, lose the fancy duds, and GIVE more to the poor.....he doesn't ACT like Jesus (or dress like Jesus or give away his treasures as surely Jesus would...what an arrogant fake he is.)

It's interesting that the RW cares about the Pope's opinion now, but didn't seem concerned when the Pope condemned Bush's plan to invade Iraq. Go figure...

Pope's jealous, and irrelevant. Thank God!

Well, I don't want my taxes going to:

1. Paying for other people snotty nosed kids education (property taxes/school taxes)
2. Paying people for being married (tax breaks for couples/deductions)
3. Paying for War (non defensive military actions - in other words Iraq, Granada, Vietnam)

and so on and so on.

So do i have that right to pick and choose??

Guess I will pay and so will you. That is part of being a American.
It can't be one way for most and another for you.
You are in the same club as the rest of us, whether you like it or not.

The Pope certainly has no room to talk.

Vatican and Washington DC certainly are strong contenders for the "most arrogant *******s in history" award, but the former operates on voluntary basis nowadays, the later still operates by force. In most countries you have a "choice" on whether you're catholic or not, whether a single penny of the wealth you create goes to the Vatican, and so on. With Washington you have no "choice".

Yeah, the Vatican collaborated with the Nazis during WWII, and tells the impoverished people of South America that contraception is a sin. Upshot: Jews and other victims of the Holocaust find no refuge in the Catholic church, and poor people in South America have more mouths than they can feed. I think what the Vatican has to say about what is and what is not appropriate ethical behavior can be taken with a grain of salt.

I find it funny that you pre-judge me!, so much for change!!

How do I feel, well in my opinion medically needed abortions are understandable and acceptable, I have a wife, and would not want her to die for that reason.

Forcible rape, of course a woman should have a choice, I have no issues there.

But when any one uses abortion as a form of birth control , I will ferociously fight to keep my tax dollars from paying her bills!!!! I did not have children until I was 32 years old, and that was by choice. Americans need to lighten up a bit and educate kids about sex. I went thru many ladies before meeting my wife and have no other children, so I fail to understand the Un-planned pregnancy....damn use a condom, they are quite available.

Am I religious, yes, but not an extremist, why do you seem to think that anyone who values human life is an extremist. Even the Quran states that life is a special thing. Unfortunately there are extremists in all spectrums of religion.

I did answer your question. I do not consider a fetus smaller than 12 weeks a person. Neither does science. But is guess if that is not good enough for you. I don't consider any PERSON better than another.
