It will work as well as the other failed bailout, which the Repubs backed.

Why not tell us why YOU feel so strongly why the stimulus package will work? I'm not trying to pick a fight with you I'm just curious to read what you have to say. On MSNBC yesterday More than half of the American's who voted in the poll think it will fail. Why do you think that it won't?

If you read the bill you will see what most are calling pork is only something they don't believe is important to our infrastructure! From a link provided by another poster comp jockey! You can see what the Bush Tax cuts cost us! Which is very telling on how we are to deal with the defecits, and begin to pay for the stimulus!

Most info you find on FDR policy is part of a campaign by the heritage foundation to discredit his policies and keynesian economics with blatent lies to accomplish their agenda!

I believe if you read the package which is quite long I must admit I still have about a quarter to go, and pay attention who you are listening to I believe you will be more optomistic about it! Unfortunately there is to much disinformation that is mostly someone elses opinion on the cable networks! They are also there to get ratings does this sound interesting to you "Obama stimulus package is perfect" would that draw viewers?

Of course, the dems and obama know that full well but are going full steam ahead to try and "change" from a capitalist republic to a socialist one. This is their opportunity (when the economy is in the tank) to implement their liberal, socialist policies. Take note of the bold - we have been here before - what the dems and obama are trying to do has been shown to be a failure.
I will trust Obama's judgement on this.

Yeah! I remember when it was also working so well back in the day when gee, the economy was growing by leaps and bounds because corporate profits went through the roof while median real household wages sank like a stone. That was cool...

I trust his judgement, I don't trust the political will. The stimulus package needs to be more. Obama knows it, most Democrats and many Republicans know it. But I'll take the $1 trillion and go about my business.

The so-called fiscally responsible Repubs sell themselves because their crappo 'leader' tells them to? Says a lot about them. I was completely against the first, and the second needs tweaking for my approval. The ultimate aim should be to gas the Middle-class, they are the ones who drive the economy.
