What do you want to happen? Our economy to go back 100 years so you can stick to your ideology? This recession is hurting everyone and if its not fixed we can all go down with it. You guys have no solutions that aren't failed policy, just complaints that we have a president that doesn't share your views.

Just a little reminder ...
people can disagree on issues and make their points, but it is against the TOS to make personal attacks.

Just the facts.
So now we're getting somewhere. we're now back to the 'Carter years' which means he is the real reason the stock market was the worst in January 2009. I knew this person would eventually get around to letting everyone out here know who to really blame for this. so, it's not President Obama's fault at all, it's President Carter's fault. we won't blame anyone else from 1932 to date except him. OOOOOoooohhhhhh thank you sooooooooooo much! OP is TOO FUNNY! and smart too!

The CRA, in no way, shape or form, created sub-prime mortgages.
It absolutely did. It is the CRA that demanded that banks make loans to people who otherwise did not qualify (could not pay them back, didn't have sufficient incom, etc.)

No, you have no clue. Do the research. Google it. Learn. And Obama, working for ACORN, was one of the "community organizers" going around and threatening banks to force them to make these risky loans.

Sorry, you lose. You don't know what your talking about. This has been fully covered elsewhere, and is factually accurate. Look it up. Google it. Learn.

You are right, of course. Not that it will matter. I doubt any of these lefties even know what the CRA is and the damage it has caused. It is THE underlying basis for the crisis we are in know.

And you have bought into the lies hook, line, and sinker.

Why don't you try "thinking" (yeah, new idea, huh?) for a change?

You couldn't care less that people are losing their entire retirement, huh?

Well, they shouldn't be. Investing in America has always been a good thing. But because of these damn liberals people are losing their shirts.

Default op is a lie

Community Reinvestment Act of 1977
FFIEC Community Reinvestment Act

Community Reinvestment Act - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
WHY IS OP A LIE? BECAUSE OP IS INTERPRETING IT IN THE WRONG WAY.
The CRA never told investment bankers, brokers to make home loans to people who could not provide proof of income! they took that chance themselves.

you can keep the NRA, it isn't part of this topic to start with. and, liberals losing their shirts? well, I know of at least 2 republican neighbors near me, who are losing big time. like I said, put your money under your pillow, and do not trust 401K administrators or investors who put your money into stocks. that was the jist of my post, which you've twisted into another meaning. I don't mind a good argument, but don't post lies about my previous posts.
