CORRECTION:
President Obama did not set a record, the stock market set the record.
Other people have been President under stock market crashes of the past.
That is why the OP is MISLEADING.

The Election result and the subsequent comments by obama, plus his Porkapalooza Bill have set a record. No other president has the honor of achieving what obama has in so short a time.

say what you want, you're entitled to your opinion, but people like myself wished you wouldn't post lies or things which are false and misleading. op is misleading, no matter how people view it.

I still wish the whiny Bush worshippers would shut up and let Obama stay in office at least 2 months before they start some more lies to try to get rid of him!

Funny Gallup poll has Obama at 63 % approval
They are not so happy with the republicans though.

Congress' approval ratings have been below 30% pretty consistently since October 2005. There have been a few exceptions to this, with ratings as high as 37% in early 2007 after the Democrats took party control of Congress after their victories in the November 2006 midterm elections, but those quickly disappeared. More recently, approval ratings of Congress had been about 20% or lower, including an all-time low rating of 14% in July 2008.
This month's sharp increase largely reflects a more positive Democratic review of Congress. Since the previous measure from early January, Barack Obama has been inaugurated as president, and now Democrats have party control of both the legislative and the executive branches of the federal government.
Democrats' average approval ratings of Congress more than doubled from January (18%) to February (43%). Independents show a smaller increase, from 17% to 29%, while Republicans are now less likely to approve of Congress than they were in January.

First, the DJI is hardly an economic indicator. We judge the economic success or failure of Presidents by much more objective standards. But it was a nice try.

there have been times in past American history when the stock market crashed, this one is what? the 4th. or 5th. worst. sorry, you lose this argument. you're just out to bash President Obama, which you've been doing even before the election. get over it, your party lost. it's now time for you to make the best of what you have.

What was last months drop? The 18% was from Nov.- Feb. That is not one month or a record. The op is wrong because it doesn't give us the months drop.
