Yes by dopy lefty bloggers distorting the truth and spreading the false boycott story. Had they shut up or better yet told the truth not many would think about boycotting GM.
That is really not a big deal. I mean if I told you that sometime in the future it is going to rain would you really care. I minored in economics in college and will tell you that pretty much anyone with a working knowledge of the business cycle can predict recessions and periods of relative growth accurately if they do not speculate as to a timetable of when they will occur in the future. I mean all you have to do is see...oh we are in a period of recession it will bottom out and then there will be a period of relative growth or vice versa. The timing is the essential part and if someone were to figure that out they would be a very very extrodinarily wealthy person.
Nevertheless, he did predict a recession... a year or so before others did.

I had to link to two different blogger sites to get to an article in which partial quotes are dissected from the original material and the "meaning" is explained by the writer as the "quotes" are presented. That's called Kool-Aid buddy.

By the way, I do agree with Rush that the Democrats power grab that our kids will be forced to finance is antithetical to the American way of life.

Remember the spending bill that was so urgently needed that no one was allowed time to read it, and that BO then took five days to sign? Do you remember the promise that was made and the justification that was offered for saddling our kids with this trillion dollars additional debt? Unemployment was to be limited to eight percent by approving this unprecedented spending. Well now it's at 9.4% and is increasing every day. The point to the actions taken by the democrats is to secure their own future by involving government in every aspect of our lives thereby making as many people as possible beholding to the hand that feeds them. Socialism is being forced on us with every "emergency" measure taken.
No one needs to call for a boycott of GM. With majority government ownership, GM will die from the inside. Think GM quality has sucked in the past? Just get ready. GM can reorganize all it wants and GM can be Obama's toy.....the writing is on the wall for GM's future and it isn't pretty.

I bought a new Ford pickup in 1977 with a 360 CI V-8.
It couldn't pull its sorry @ss up McDonald Pass past 45 MPH empty-loaded.
So 2 months into new ownership, I complained to the Dealer in Helena, MT, who told me the tools and dyes for making that engine were long worn out and therefore the engine tolerances were a bit sloppy - and that I was stuck with it.
I began reading about Ford engines and found that in 1970, Ford accidently made a very powerful and efficient engine, the 351 Cleveland 2V. It only had one defect, bad oiling design.
Later I found out you could put the Cleveland heads on Ford's Windsor block and end up with a famously efficient, reliable and powerful engine - which I now have.
Four years after Ford realized they had a super engine, with the Cleveland-Windsor design, they stopped producing them in the U.S.
I think they are still made in Brazil and Australia.
It seems like American companies WANT junk for American citizens as a socialist construct.
It is as though the belief is that if one outfit has excellence over the others, it is bad for all the lesser achievers and that's just not fair, so the excellence must be brought down to it's "peers" lowest common denominator to achieve fair play for all.

The Democratic leader 3 years ago was former Vermont governor and DNC party chair Howard Dean a previously elected official who was acting in an official capacity for the Democratic party. If you cannot tell difference between a former governor and party chair and a radio demagogue I feel sorry for you.
