You don't mean a thing to an addict if it's time to get a fix and maintain so that withdrawal doesn't start.
You are so right Cuebald.

I think I've made it abundantly clear that most do.

Here's the problem with how you perceive smokers, Connie. You assume that everyone you see on the street who isn't smoking at the time you see them is a non-smoker. The only people you identify as smokers are those who light up next to you.

Think about it.

As I already stated, smokers might well be the nicest people on the planet otherwise, just NOT when it comes to their addiction. Addiction takes precedence over anyone's best judgment.

Which means the only behavior we are talking about here IS the behavior WHILE smoking or directly involving their ability to smoke.

Don't mind AJP, ergohead. He's just cranky because it's probably been more than 5 minutes since his last ciggie.

Oh BS!!! It was a stupid question and has no bearing whatsoever to do with the subject of this thread. It was a politically charged question and nothing else and was basically trolling. All kinds of people smoke and that is all there is to it.

Mearth, you look for any reason to try and make a statement about smokers and all you do with the ignorant posts, as yours above, is show ignorance and nothing else.

BTW, I smoke but I doubt that I smoke as much as you think. Hell, a damn carton can last me a month or better sometimes. You my dear, have many problems and just one of them your out and out HATRED of anyone who does something you don't agree with personally.

Speaking as a smoker, I would hope that some of the rabid 'national socialist health cultists' among you, will be the first to demand that the tobacco leaves get chipped off the columns of the Capitol building in Washington.

After all, how can you whiny anti-smokers even cope, with the evil tobacco leaves enshrined for all time, in your national monuments - and guaranteed to last longer than you? :P

I've got a better idea! Let's tax Democrats! They started this nonsence. They seem to love taxation. All the republicans and independants get a free ride and we'll ride on the backs of the Democrats for a while and see how they like it!
