That is all that is needed.

PS - I learned a long time ago to never try anything John Wayne got away with in the movies. Never!
So when this "idiot" is taught to fire more accurately does that mean more Washington Snipers or less? Duuuuuuuuuuuh!

Well, what was he "institutionalized" for?

Converting a AK47 to full auto is an FELONY punishable by 10 years in Federal prison.

As you can see in your own example, we already have STRICT laws, and it still doesn't deter people. What makes you think that EVEN MORE laws are going to work?

Maybe because the existing ones obviously don't work.

Schizophrenia. I'm talking full on, months in the nut hut, multiple times. All they do is ask "have you been institutionalized" on the application.

He bought the manual at a gun show. Marked "For Academic Study Purposes Only".

Stockpiled weapons in a short period of time.

That law is not strict enough. Further background checks should be run. Why does anyone need a 50 cal?

OK, let's use your logic.

How do we stop people from committing murder then, because according to you, our laws regarding the unlawful taking of another human life just aren't working?

OK, so he lied and committed multiple FELONIES on the Form 4473 by lying if he's ever been committed, and also by making and possessing an illegal, post '86 machine gun violating both the GCA of 68 and FOPA of 86.

You stop people committing murder with a gun by much stricter gun control as can be seen by the out of control shootings in America compared to the UK for example.
