He is just another self serving politician that does not care about the people he / she represents. This type of behavior is equally common for politicians of BOTH parties

Hope you felt the same way when Clinton did it though

Well at least we know Sanford felt the same way, look at what he said when he voted to impeach Clinton.

Yeah, actually you CAN control your heart. If you know something is wrong then you just don't do it and you keep NOT doing it. You work harder at your marriage, your children, your job, and everytime your mind starts to stray you get busy doing something you should be doing instead of daydreaming of something you should not be doing. One day you will wake up and realize that you don't think about the other person anymore and also realize that you had a narrow escape from sacrificing everything that really meant something to you.

There are a lot of sad, sad people out there that now feel nothing but disgust for themselves and the person for whom they left everything. This is especially true when there are children involved.

Judging from the e-mails, I don't think Sanford's mistress was wearing much of anything...great tan lines, though.

Now just for clarification (I dont know), did he call for impeachment because of infidelity? Or was there lying under oath? What exactly?
