It's okay by you that a dad with four sons disappears Thursday and no one hears from him for four days, one of which was Father's Day?
What I love is that people seem to care little that he is a governor and that the Lt. Governor didn't even know where he was, but whatever. That's a matter for S.C. But for a man with kids and a wife to just up and take off for days without saying where he is going, that is just plain weird. I hope he watches Obama's Father's Day talk. It sounds like he could use some advice.
Yes, I'd rather that he was out drinking or running around with people who don't pay their taxes, IF he first let his wife know that that is what he would be doing on Father's Day weekend in case there was an emergency with HIS family.
Did he not tell his wife or did she choose not to tell anyone else. What business is it to people who don't live in South Carolina, what the South Carolina Governor is doing. Nothing wrong with taking a little time off. Do you have any idea what this man has been through this year. He first had the congress and the president tell him how to run his state and then there was a major fire. Are you such vultures that you can't cut the man a little slack? You just don't like him because he is a responsible logical thinker. Wish we had more like him in the United States.

I cant wait to see him come staggering out to the cameras in some spotless hiking costume from LL Bean.... the tracking down of the receipt for the clothes... the revelation that well, you wanna put it that way, he wasnt actually out hiking for four days at all.... etc, etc, etc... love it.

No, if he were a Democrat you would be blaming him if he even took time off to have a cup of custard with his kids. But since he is a republican he can disappear from his kids AND his duties for days at a time and gain your praise.
