... Also, your poll says 51% approve of the job Obama's doing compared with 37% disapproving.
And ...
Quote:
The poll found that voters disapprove of the way Obama is handling the economy by 49 percent to 45 percent. On his effort to overhaul of the health-care system, 52 percent disapprove of his handling of the issue while 39 percent approve.
I'm surprised that folks are jumping ship so early in the game. I gave oMomma at least 18 months .. in the beginning.
Guess I was wrong .. No sense in putting off till tomorrow, that which can be done today.
Maybe in 2012, we'll vote in someone that isn't so reckless with out tax dollars .. here's to hopin' ..
I'm with the 11 percent who say it is too soon to tell. I would have said the same for any President 6 months in to his 4-year term. The verdict I render will be whatever my vote is on November 2012...
I find it amazing how it was OK to spend a trillion on a ridiculous war of choice without people giving any real thought to how it would impact the deficit, but now, with another trillion (and more) being spent here at home in OUR country, that's when the knives come out and the calls of "socialism" and "communism" are screamed out. What kind of priorities does that suggest?
In my view, Bush made missteps from day one. He came into office under suspicion and decimated practically everything his predecessor had won wide approval for. People wanted the war to be pulled back--Bush shoves a Surge down our throats. Comparing Obama and Bush's first 200 days is very difficult considering the different world's they each inherited. Bush increased our deficit by 200% and the people on the right basically remained silent. Since Obama has ramped up that spending spree, NOW they're complaining, giving Bush, in essence, a free pass. Funny how ideology and political party trump basic patriotism.

You cant say an administration is a failure when it is only an 1/8th (possibly 1/16th) of the way done. Anyone that even answers that survey yes or no is a fool. The answer to that survey should be "yet to be determined". Any other answer is foolish.
You may not be able to say that. I may not be able to. But, as you see...
More and more are abandoning the Obama ship on a daily base....the Mesiah has proven to be fake and it was hot iar hope and change....
Btw I expected it to take longer for a lot of Obama followers to wake up, but Obama has showed to be distructive him seld...his arrogance has showed many that experience is what a presidents needs to have and writing a couple of books isn't good enough.
I don't think the actual "Obama followers" will ever wake up (like the ones on this forum), it's the moderates who voted for him while holding their noses that are getting p*ssed.
Republicans are telling us that the Obama administration has "failed" merely six months in and yet toward the latter stages of the Bush administration all I ever heard from the GOP was, "let history be the judge of whether George W. Bush was a success or failure". The ONLY correct answer for such a question is "too soon to tell".
