So you are claiming our soldiers have killed millions of Iraqis?

What article or proof do you have to make such a claim against our soldiers?
Shock and Awe was not just a fireworks display.

kennedy expressed remorse about mary jo kopechne's death when he was alive, so i'm not sure what the point of this thread is.

a week after it happened he called his own actions "indefensible" in a national address.

her parents released a statement saying that they forgave him in recent years. i think that says a lot.

You are probably right. And the responsible party "committed suicide"......

Guilt driven "good deeds" originating from immoral self-interest.

Not exactly one of those coldhearted Libertarians who espouse rational self-interest.

Morality is something children need to develop - then one can move on into principles, ethics and virtue, all requiring a non-guilt-driven rational mind.

Good, if he did lie all the way to his grave, then he won't be the first one or the last one. Don't make it like he has the inventory on lying.

But of course, these men are criminals and proven liars so any remorse would be manufactured BS from both of them.

We could be having in-depth discussion on the migrating patterns of Cliff Swallows and you would probably offer up this exact same retort.

Get some new material.

If you are going to rant, try backing it up with some facts.

Of course, rightwingers are fact averse

Hussein was perpetrating a sadistic political purge on his own people that would make Stalin blush.

That body count went down when we invaded.

He even gassed Kurdish civilians to include children.

How is that not genocide?

Why is one a humanitarian mission and the other an adventurous war?

TED KENNEDY NOT GEORGE W. BUSH is what this thread is about...

And NO I did not support sending our military into Iraq. I was 100% against it and still am.

If he lied all his way to the grave...so be it, but to come out with a book days after being put to rest is making him such a hypocrite...this thread was never been written if he hadn't wait to bring this book and how he felt about the accident...till he died....He clearly calculated when the book had to come out so their is hidden agenda!
