In an interview with Anderon Cooper, Bill Clinton said he is not opposed to unions between gay couples but that marriage should be determined by the states and the religous institutions. Clinton said he changed his position on this. So what was his previous position on gay unions...that he was against them? Wow, I guess the GOP is more liberal than Clinton on this issue since the GOP has been in favor of gay unions but not gay marriage for a long time. But I suppose if Clinton says this, he is pro-gay rights and if the GOP says it they are anti-gay. It's a double standard. I don't care what Clinton's stance on this issue is, I just question his honesty. It seems like he is still lying because when asked he paused and backtracked. It seemed like he wanted to say he was in support of gay marriage and then backtracked realizing the consequences of his statement.

Clinton is still a "player".

Clinton is pretty conservative if you actually look at this record instead of the letter next to his name. Had a sex scandal like a true conservative as well.

I'm fine with that but it's his approach and sincerity I question. I think most of us expected Clinton to say he supported gay marriage because I don't think anyone really questioned or thought Clinton's previous position opposed gay unions. He just seemed to waffle today and backtrack in his typical less than honest approach.
