yikes! i did not see that coming. i didn't think he would fly over there (at over 1.5 million dollars for the fuel alone) unless he had been given some assurance that chicago was going to get the olympics. that is a lot of negative publicity and i bet somebody gets fired.....

The olympics really do not do anything for a City but cause logistical headaches. The costs outweigh the benefits of hosting the Olympics.
