If global warming was becoming what the loons believe wouldnt that snow come later then sooner? To hear the loons it might stop snowing completely because of the earth is burning up!!
Ummm, yeah.

Oct 19th is an average of when we can expect our first snow in Denver. Not the day of the first snow every single year.

For instance, last year's first snow was November 14. The year before was Oct 21. This year was Oct 10. If you were to go back and average all years on record you would come up with an average date of Oct 19. Some years it snows before Oct 19, some years after.

Elementary, Watson.

Telltale signs are everywhere —from the unexpected persistence and thickness of pack ice in the waters around Iceland to the southward migration of a warmth-loving creature like the armadillo from the Midwest.Since the 1940s the mean global temperature has dropped about 2.7° F. Although that figure is at best an estimate, it is supported by other convincing data. When Climatologist George J. Kukla of Columbia University's Lamont-Doherty Geological Observatory and his wife Helena analyzed satellite weather data for the Northern Hemisphere, they found that the area of the ice and snow cover had suddenly increased by 12% in 1971 and the increase has persisted ever since. Areas of Baffin Island in the Canadian Arctic, for example, were once totally free of any snow in summer; now they are covered year round.
Now what are we doing, we cooling, warming or what?

I've said it before and I'll say it again--we're trying to make as much money as Gore did with this B.S.
Climate Change Timeline – 1895-2009 « But Now You Know
"For at least 114 years, climate “scientists” have been claiming that the climate was going to kill us…but they have kept switching whether it was a coming ice age, or global warming."

No Kidding: Snow on Sunday! | NBC Chicago
It has snowed in Washington DC in October before (rare) - and DC is certainly not Chicago, weather-wise.

Anomalies aside, like others say, the Earth's climate is changing and warming and we're losing polar ice. An unusually chilly day doesn't negate all the scientific evidence and predictions.

To expand a bit, here is the list for the past 8 years:

Earliest Date of First Snow: September 3, 1961
Latest Date of First Snow: November 21, 1934
Average Date of First Snow: October 19th
First Measurable Snow Last 8 Years: November 14, 2008
October 22, 2007
October 18, 2006
October 10, 2005
November 1, 2004
November 5, 2003
October 25, 2002
October 5, 2001

October 10, 2009

Now which of those dates is exactly October 19? Why none of them! Counting this year, there are 4 years where the first snow came earlier and 5 that were later. See how math works?

ETA: http://www.dailycamera.com/news/ci_13530620

Kelsch said it's not unusual for the area to see its first snow in the second week of October

The back peddling is merely a human survival reaction. They know that their claims are so off base that now that the observational data is so directly in conflict with their statements, they have to "play it safe" to avoid being cast as complete friggen idiots. Too late folks, you made your bed, now lie in it. Morons. /sheesh
