I think I would not like to see the "crisis" of H1N1 get people's attention away from how Congress and the White House are about to screw up healthcare.

*Sigh* I guess it was only a matter of time before someone said this.

What are you saying? The administration is infecting people? Are we going back to the days of infecting blankets with virus, in this case H1N1 instead of smallpox, to wipe out a population of people? 1 in 5 kids has supposedly already had H1N1.

Vitamin D will not prevent H1N1. Staying out of crowded places will help, but unless you go into total seclusion, you will still be exposed. Remember that people are contagious for at least a day before they show symptoms.

Wrong again:

"A spokeswoman for first lady Michelle Obama said Tuesday that 11-year-old Malia and 8-year-old Sasha received their H1N1 shots last week from a White House doctor after the vaccine became available to schoolchildren in the Washington, D.C., area."

Default Barack's Katrina

A twelve year-old girl died Monday in Providence of H1N1 and the disease is now pandemic in 46 states. There will be many more deaths as the vaccine supply is still woefully inadequate

Why was our government caught flat-footed this fall after Obama insisted earlier in the year that this would absolutely not happen?

This could very well be Barack's Katrina, only much worse because the Federal Government is the first responder, not third as in NO, and he had a lot more than a week to know what he was up against.

Got Confidence?

Someone else already tried to make this comparison.

FYI - only 1,000 people have died since April.

36,000 die every year of the regular flu.

Oh good grief. Lets stick to knocking The Obama around for real problems.

Thus far H1N1 has proven to be much less than a deadly pandimic.

By most objective measures, the Obama administration has responded admirably to the H1N1 threat. The only place it has been faulted has been in predicting that there would be more vaccine available now than is actually available. The prediction was based on what the vaccine manufacturers were telling the administration. The process to produce the vaccine is moving more slowly than predicted.

BTW, you're off script. You're supposed to be criticizing Obama for declaring a national emergency when H1N1 is really no big deal so he can set himself up as president for life and impose socialism on everyone. You need to consult with the other Obama bashers so you can present a united front.

Give me a break. This is no where near as bad a Katrina.

Hell, there was nothing he could do. There are few places in the world that make the vaccines, and the virus that is in swine flu grows slower than regular flu.

Less people have died from this than the regular flu.

Please stick to real issues.
