In that case, the link about the emergency, it is on the CDC's website for anyone to access.

Not to mention, the poster I was responding to seems to blame Obama for everything. If she lived here in metro Denver, she'd blame him for this October blizzard, the likes of which hasn't been seen since the Clinton administration. (See, it's always the Dems that cause the bad weather.)
Nice post.... I know the feeling, being able to search the internet efficiently is a talent and learned skill....

On a side note: I do my share of bashing, but this you can't.

Why was our government caught flat-footed this fall after Obama insisted earlier in the year that this would absolutely not happen?

This could very well be Barack's Katrina, only much worse because the Federal Government is the first responder, not third as in NO, and he had a lot more than a week to know what he was up against.

Got Confidence?
Of course we have those who would blame Obama for the flu. Let's see if these same folks like Joshua will give credit to Obama for 3.5% growth in the GDP this past 3rd quarter.

very amusing, just last week I believe there was another Obama hater saying how out of line he was for making a big deal out of the H1N1...make up your minds! (oh I'm sorry, I forgot, EVERYTHING he does is wrong and EVERYTHING he doesn't do he should have...)

It's a good question. I don't know enough about it to know either way. On one hand, it is a new strand that is sweeping all aspects of society and killing people, so to ignore it would be political suicide or, at the least, very disconcerting.

On the other hand, more people will die in automobile accidents this year.

But, politics is rarely rational and people don't fear cars at the moment and they're not a new threat, so perhaps that's why he did it.
