Oh, just maybe, it might inspire other weak minded dullards to be copycats, some are bound to take it as gospel.

Just a minor correction.... When I grew up in Texas back in the 1960s, there was plenty of talk about secession. I distinctly recall in the 1970s seeing many bumper stickers with the Texas flag in the background and the word Secede in bold to the fore so that "movement" has been around well before 2000.

There have always been plenty of Texans not completely contented with the idea of being in the union. Texas was once a sovereign nation and many would like to see it so again. Not racist.

If Texas seceded, I'd have triple citizenship! I have a US passport, an Irish Passport, and a Texas birth certificate. Wouldn't that be special?

Thanks for the correction. I assumed it was around longer but didnt know for how long. I did know of some groups formed in the early 2000's though and they surely didnt form due to "Bush being black".

Anyone who thinks that any of this stuff is about "black' definately better not have criticized Bush because if they did, they are hyporicts for thinking we cant criticize Obama without referring to his race. Its about an adjenda, they didnt like Bushs', I dont like Obamas..

If Texas seceeds, I'll have to move.. Watch the whole state of Texas end up looking like NYC due to so many people flooding out of the USA..

I'd be willing to bet that even the African-American's that experienced racism would have trouble linking the sentiments of these folks to the racism they experienced. Give it up already. Beyond ridiculous, and I think you know that. You just can't get over your hatred of George W. Bush, and its completely clouding any ounce of rationale you may have.
Not at all.

The militia loons have been around quite a while, now with Obama in the white house they've coalesced around that fact and all the spin from right wing blowhards that Obama is a socialist, a commie, going to destroy our nation, etc. By some reports, the number of racial hatred groups are up 50%.

Racism is the underlying theme in the militia groups, now they have a target for their hate and anger. Racism never left us, it's still here, it's all over and it's not going to go away lightly. I see no black faces in those groups and I see no black militia groups popping up to "protect the constitution." I've been getting race-based jokes and viral emails for 20 years and the militia groups have been angry for that long or longer, all spun up about affirmative action, welfare, etc.

Racism is the issue. All other matters, like our elected officials being bought and paid for can be overcome if all of us who are unhappy with the status quo start a third, independent party that pays attention to our needs, not those of mega-corporations.

Racism is not the issue and it is irritating to see liberals try to label discontent with the government as racism.

Why should they have to be 100% racist? The right wing media use any and every tool they can think of to ratchet up the hysteria among the sheep and encourage it -- idiot groups like this are the result.

If you are going to accuse individuals of being a racist, then claiming they dont have to be racist in order to be racist seems like a rather pathetic spin to your own argument..

Do we need to list the idiot groups which thrived during the last 8 years?

Hey kinda sounds like hussein obama's friends William Ayers of Weatherman and the Black Panthers except these guys are on America's side instead of against it.

I didnt accuse anyone of being a racist. I did accuse the people in the video of being crazy militia types and "absolutely influenced by the right wing hysteria-media".
