I personally think they should've just gone for it, who cares. Do you know how many writers & the like are threatened every day in some of those countries, yet they still do what they do. Wait, was this scene already made, CGI & everything & THEN they decided to cut it? Yeah, that's a loss of money right there. But if it was brought up before anything was done, then no biggie.

He should have gone ahead and included the blown up icon. BTW, did the guys who did Team America World Police receive any threats for their portrayal of Muslims? Did Kim Jong Il get pissed?

It was scary. I was in Dearborn when it happened last week.
I didn't even hear about this, was it on the news?

That South Park episode was very crucial example showing that in some ways the terrorists do win. The funny thing South Park did was show Jesus and George Bush taking craps on each other at the end...and showing how Comedy Central woudl allow that to be seen on TV but they wouldn't allow Mohamed just stand there.

WILL SOMEONE PAGE "LARRY DAVID"!!!

Wow!! It's what we all knew was true, but to PC to say it! Hollywood are bunch of cowards who pick on Christians because they know that all they will do is complain.

But they are scared of Islam! Chicken!! Yellow!!
They will not mess with the sacred things of Muslims like the Koran, Muhammad or Allah. They will poke fun at Burkas. But that's it.

Larry David uses urine splatter on a picture of Jesus, as a joke on his HBO show.

Some of these so-called "enertainers" have no concept of what constitutes good comedy. None. It shouldn't be pc to poke fun at any religion. Examine, analyze, criticise from one's point of view - yes. Poke fun at or ridicule, no.

FBI Kills Islamic Cleric, Arrests Followers, for Being Muslims at the Wrong Time in America

"
The Times echoed FBI allegations that Abdullah "began firing at them from a warehouse (and) was shot in the return fire...." Ones also that he said:
  • "America must fall;"
  • if police tried to arrest him he'd "strap a bomb on and blow up everybody;" and
  • that he urged his followers to get bulletproof vests by "shoot(ing) a cop in the head and tak(ing) their vest."
America must fall, eh?

It was so scary because this happen on the road called "Michigan Ave". Guess which road I take to school every day? MICHIGAN AVE! Now every time I drive there, I think about terrorists.

A few things wrong with this. With the exception of the Dark Ages, Christianity hasn't been particularly violent. No more than most other religious and less than Islam. Second, while a fair amount of Christianity was directly and indirectly spread by the sword, much of Christianity in places like Europe were spread mainly because paganism sucked. Now, while paganism was rarely as insidious as portrayed by many of the nuttier Christians, they were generally rather dark religions with plenty of restrictions themselves and in many cases were far less forgiving than Christianity. That is why nobodies often turned entire nations Christian in a few years with little violence.

Oh, and that is partly the point. Islam IS still stuck in the Dark Ages. Christianity has seen the Reformation, the Renaissance, and the Enlightenment. While official newspapers in Saudi Arabia remind people that practicing the black arts to gain wealth is against the Koran. Moderate Islam is still a few decades behind Fundamentalist Christianity and Fundamentalist Islam is a few decades behind Dark Ages Christianity.

The point is those psychos do kill people NOW and I don't frankly care if Christianity killed people some 600 years ago when were are dealing with these pricks in the present.

When people were killed over a cartoon in an obscure Danish magazine and a rambling symbolism heavy book written by a formerly obscure author, I think it is fair to say that these people are serious and the CGI destruction of Mecca can result in people getting killed.
