I guess to a wingnut, the fact that a scummy, torture-defending lawyer didn't get embarrassed in a 10-minute interview with a comedian counts as something to cheer about.
WTF kind of lives do you people live. Do you just sit at home, slashing tallies in columns? Stewart is a COMEDY show, I watch him because he makes me laugh. So he had an off night. So do the rest of us. Life goes on.

Their lives must be so pathetic.
LOL. This from a supporter of the scummy lawyer-funded party. Speaking of pathetic...
Funny how Stewart is portrayed as smarter than everyone else and a candidate for sainthood by the left, until he gets his lunch eaten on his home court by some chubby professor. Then he's a just a comedian.
His point is that he doesn't get that Stewart is a comedian.
People always belittle John Stewart because he is a comedian hosting a show that humorizes the absurdities of the news. However, if they actually listened, John Stewart gives very good interviews. His interviews ask good questions, and he treats all of the people he is interviewing with class and respect. He never yells, talks above them, or cuts people off like many anchors on "real" cable news. He respectfully listens to other opinions. NPR did a story on how well he gives interviews, and examples of his fine interview skills.
Hell, he interviewed more important world leaders, politicians, authors, musicians, etc then many of those "real" newscasters could only wish they ever have.

"NPR did a story." The preface that kills.
