150,000 thousand dead, so far out of a country with a population of less than 10,000,000. That's 1.5% of their population dead, it will probably be closer to 2%.

Imagine 1.5% of our population of over 300,000,000 dying from a natural disaster. That would be 4,500,000 dead. I number that cannot even be imagined. If people are able to give then they should. Roughly 3,000 people died in 9/11 (of course under different circumstances), but the pure loss of life is staggering.

Millions upon millions of dollars going to a country that was poor to begin with.

Other than the fact that there were people trapped and in need of medical treatment you couldn't tell the areas that were hit and ones that weren't.

I just think this country (USA) jumps over homeless people here in USA to save some in another country. I understand trying to save the lives of many who were hit by the earthquake and get medical attention to these ones but Obama is talking spending millions to rebuild their country.

The rich handing out millions out of their pockets to help Haiti when there are plenty of homeless people they pass every day that are ignored.

I feel for the country Haiti but they were in bad shape to begin with.

Your thoughts....
Good thing it's happening to somebody else, huh? Whew! God must love you best.

It's obvious that you have information that we do not. Yet you advise us..."Just you watch!

What are we watching for?
And, what...pray tell...is "the plan"?
And whose plan is it?

Haiti had so many people there because I think it was Clinton promised jobs and then put in factories and millions of people came to get jobs and there were not enough jobs to go around. Then the prices of food ect went up. To many people not enough work people protested and complained. First the factories went under then the tourist as in ships went away. As in just another sweat shop from a 3rd world nation was opened and closed. Leaving behind slums. Houses build out of tin squatters galore. Then the quake happened and now USA gotta pay for Clinton mistake. I hope the Clinton's donated every penny they owned to Haiti and it still wouldn't be enough.

Yes the USA is spending to much money. Most are now going back to were they are safer Haiti want be the same and we don't want to encourage them lesson learned?
