I know about 8 or 9 people on some form of assistance and 2 are cheats. I've lived in major urban inner cities my whole life and the majority of those on assistance are honest and clean, it's just a loud few who abuse it.

I only can think of one person I knew who was on public assistance and she hated every moment of it as it was demoralizing. Fortunately for her, she has found a job and was able to get back on her feet. I'm sure most welfare recipients hate being on public assistance.
The most common is women who are living with one of the men who fathered children who claim they are raising children alone and state that they do not know who fathered their children.

How can any woman NOT know who fathered her children? I suspect that these types of women are in the minority of welfare recipients.
I've lived in Philly, San Bernardino and Newark. I likely know more about the settings of people on welfare than you.
I live in El Paso, Texas. Do you have any idea how many people receive welfare benefits in El Paso?
